Problem: Develop an efficient and inexpensive method to reach the public at large.

Solution: NAABT - FeelNormal.org Subway Ads, Postcards & Web Page

"Feel Normal" - it's the most often heard phrase of the goal of those afflicted with opioid addiction. "I just want to feel normal again". It's a message that must get out repeatedly. Sometimes very strong and powerful, it can push through the clutter. Other times, it can be a softer and almost subliminal message that slowly works its way into consciousness.

If money were no object, network television, radio, multi-page newspaper and magazine ads and keyword metrics on every major search engine would be just the beginning. But, in life's realities comes affordable solutions.

Thus, the call to action of the NAABT has been effectively broadcasted to tens of thousands of prospective patients and families through much more economical methods. A compelling website, offering immediate response and confidential help in the privacy of a doctor's office, was created for the FeelNormal.org initiative. Direct mail postcards were sent to physicians, therapists and treatment centers where the ads were displayed. Transit ads on subways and other rail systems spoke quietly, but in a positive way to thousands of people addicted themselves, and also to the many people who care about addicts and want to help them find their way.

In carefully selected markets, the FeelNormal.org has enjoyed healthy response and is experiencing significant progress.
