Addiction Survivors - Peer Support Community


When the non-profit agency, Addiction Survivors, needed a peer-support community website developed, Adaptive Strategies was able to accommodate their very specific needs.

Addiction Survivors is a non-profit organization which provides online peer support to users suffering from Opioid addiction and alcohol dependence. The Addiction Survivors community provides peer support as well as important first-hand information about the latest treatment options, studies and research. This includes getting started, side-effects of treatments and dealing with insurance issues, as well as information for friends and family members of the dependent patient. The online nature allows participants to instantly "check and verify" claims and information posted by other participants. This avoids the circulation of false or prejudiced information.
